Twelve million

Twelve million is a beautiful number.

It looks good in headlines. Easy to quote. Easy to pass along. Easy to nod at, impressed.

But the number that matters more to us is a different one: six hundred.

At first glance, six hundred is surprisingly unspectacular. It’s not round enough to be a record, nor odd enough to stick in your memory. It sounds more like a house number, a page number, or the number of unread emails waiting after a holiday.

And yet, to us, it tells a story.

Not about scale, but about possibility.

Six hundred places where two people meet for the very first time and leave the court side by side two hours later.

Six hundred chances for someone to say, “I was only going to give it a try.”

Six hundred meeting points for after-work games, parent-and-child matches, first tournaments, spontaneous rematches, and that famous one last game that somehow always turns into two.

And then there’s the number two.

Two companies. Two networks. Two sets of experience. Two ideas of how this sport can grow.

That’s exactly why we’re excited about our partnership with Compagnie des Alpes and UrbanPadel. Not because it turns around 350 courts into more than 600.

But because two networks become one. And because a number suddenly becomes six hundred opportunities to bring people together.

Perhaps that’s the only kind of mathematics that really matters in padel.

Two is greater than one.

And six hundred is never just six hundred.
