The Padel Highlight of 2025: The One Point Challenge by PadelCity!

On May 1, 2025, Dortmund will become the center of the European padel scene as the One Point Challenge (OPC) brings together the best of the best. Teams from all over Europe will battle for the ultimate point – and a prize of €10,000.

    KING AND QUEEN OF THE COURT
    Watch the throne
    Dortmund
    Tournament format with 12-24 players. Players compete in fixed 2-player teams. Depending on the number of players, there are 3-6 courts where matches are played. Each court represents a league. Each team starts on a randomly selected court. The tournament lasts for 2 hours, and there is a promotion and relegation system. Each match lasts for 15 minutes. Points are not counted as usual with 15, 30, 40, game, but as 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on. The winning team advances, and the losing team is relegated. The winners of the last match on the highest court win the tournament.

    We are getting there! You've secured your first victories, play regularly, and want to bring consistency to your game. Now it's time to focus on the basics of tactics, defensive behavior, footwork, and playing with the glass. Let's play padel!

    If you keep going at this rate, you'll soon find more trophies in your cabinet alongside your first Americano wins. Now we want to expand your repertoire of strokes so that you can use your "weapons" in the game. Vibora, Bandeja, Chiquita, etc., should become second nature to you.

    Early birds, take note! An Americano for breakfast, both as coffee and as a tournament. It's the popular and straightforward tournament format suitable for every level and age. Players compete individually but form pairs that change after each game. Each game ends after 24 points have been played, with each team serving twice before the serve switches. Points earned are recorded in the individual overall table after each game. The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the tournament.

    Friday vibes, Padel tribe – kickstart your weekend right!

    Time to kick off the weekend with an Americano. It's the popular and straightforward tournament format suitable for every level and age. Players compete individually but form pairs that change after each game. Each game ends after 24 points have been played, with each team serving twice before the serve switches. Points earned are recorded in the individual overall table after each game. The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the tournament. And, most importantly, for Fiesta Friday, cold beverages are a must for the perfect Padel vibe.
