This is PadelCity

Some companies start with a business plan. PadelCity started with a passion.

In the summer of 2022, the idea arose to open the first padel courts. Not with the aim of building a large company. Not with investor presentations or growth strategies. But out of a very simple desire: to create a place where we could play ourselves and where other people could also discover this fascinating sport for themselves.

What began back then with the first courts in Ingolstadt developed faster than anyone could have imagined.

Because padel taps into something that is often neglected in our increasingly digital world: genuine connections. People come together, get active, laugh, get to know one another and spend time together. That is precisely why padel is so much more than just a sport to us.

Padel is a community. A lifestyle. A meeting place.

A place where it doesn’t matter where you’re from, how old you are or what level you play at. Whether you’re a beginner or a tournament player, young or old, ambitious or simply looking to have a good time with friends – everyone is welcome at PadelCity.

That’s why our motto remains the same to this day: Come as you are.

Those first courts have since grown into a movement.

Today, over a hundred thousand people play on our courts every month. Together with our community, our partners, coaches, streamers and many well-known personalities, we have raised the profile of padel in Germany and helped bring it out of its niche status and onto the big stage.

PadelCity now comprises over 100 courts in more than 25 cities. Together, we’ve organised a TV event with ProSieben, opened our first training centres, established the One Point Challenge Tour at several locations across Europe, and built a team of over 200 staff.

What makes us particularly proud is this: behind every figure are people. People who have discovered their new favourite sport. Friendships forged on the court. Teams that have grown together. And communities connected to one another far beyond the sport itself.

As our CEO and co-founder Jonathan Sierck says:

“We never set out to build as many courts as possible. We wanted to create places where people enjoy spending time. Everything else grew out of that.”

It is precisely this philosophy that continues to shape PadelCity to this day.

We transform properties into vibrant meeting places and bring the spirit of padel to cities across Germany. Places where exercise meets community. Places where, after a long day at work, you can unwind, meet new people or simply have a good time.

And the journey continues.

Our vision remains the same as it was on day one: we want to make padel accessible to as many people as possible and continue to create places where a sense of community can flourish. To this end, we are opening new venues, investing in young talent, further developing our offerings and continuously expanding the PadelCity community in Germany and beyond.

Because for us, padel doesn’t end with match point. The best stories usually begin afterwards. See you on the court.
